Lovely coffee, very smooth and smell gorgeous. The cinnamon roll is also very delicious, it’s not too strong, I like strong cinnamon flavour but this is also very good. Friendly staff. Very nice.
We are well-travelled and love all kinds of foods. This spot had the most delicious BBQ pulled pork sandwich on fresh sourdough with cheddar cheese. The staff toasted it on the spot for instant enjoyment. The cheese melts over the pulled pork and sourdough toast and there is plenty of meat for a good dose of protein. The staff are helpful and friendly, as we came back two days in a row specifically for another pulled pork sandwich and the person in front of us in line requested the same item.
If you’re a true pastry or sourdough enthusiast, this is the place for you the best in the city.The pastries are simply perfect flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of ingredients. From classic croissants to fruit danishes and more creative offerings, everything is crafted with care. And the sourdough? It strikes the perfect balance between a crisp crust and a chewy, flavourful interior At last a warm, cosy atmosphere and a friendly team who clearly love what they do, found a local gem worth coming back to again and again
Coffee was nice, little bit too creamy for my liking I’d have preferred with semi skimmed milk. The pastry was fresh and tasty
This is the best coffee shop in town. Everyone who works there is so kind, and it’s my favourite espresso in York. If you’re looking to get a great cup of coffee, sandwich, sweet treat or your spirits brightened, Bar Hashery is the place to be.
