Monks Cross Park and Ride

Excellent bus service, and at only £3.80 return per person it’s great price, it costs you this for 1 hour parking in the ncp car park in the city. Even better the fleet of electric buses, such a nice smooth quiet ride, far better than horrible chucking and shaking diesels. Well don’t York!

Terrible service today. Five buses and still unable to get on one due to overcrowding. Supposedly using the double deckers for the races... Well done 👏

As a ' newbie ' I asked for help from the first Hi Viz vested chap who was exceptionally helpful, kind , informative and all round good guy 10.00 am 1/4/2025: no fools ! He took me to v pleasant office for tickets and another great experience ( note to self , take your bus pass ) Whisked into city by electric bus , immaculate in every respect by lovely driver The return took a bit longer naturally , it was busy. No brainer, why pay a fortune to park in the city if you have time to Park and Ride ?

Superb price and service. £5.50 for an All Day Family ticket. There were plenty of spaces and it took 5mins to park, buy a ticket and board. Returned from York Station during rush hour and there were still seats available.

Excellent service, low cost and clean buses. We didn't wait at all and found the location of the park and ride handy to have dinner at Nandos after a day in the city. Much easier than trying to navigate the city and find a park.
