An absolutely bloody exceptional meal. Lamb chops, still slightly pink, seasoned to perfection. Complex curries, very spicy, but still delicious and enjoyable. Lovely chippies, massively tasty naan bread. Not exactly service with a smile but professional enough not to detract from the experience. Best part? The price. Two course meal for two and three alcoholic drinks for less than £70. Outstanding. Best curry house in York and definitely in our top three country-wide. Will be thinking about this meal for a while...
First visit to York so wanted to find a really well priced Indian Restaurant. We were not disappointed. Easy to find, easy to book, extremely welcoming and friendly. Menu was excellent and we were looked after the whole time. Food was exceptional we would highly recommend if ever you visit York. Its that good they had to turn away some as were fully booked 👍👍
Great menu lots of choice. Decent pint of cobra , friendly staff. Good size portions. Can recommend the tandoori mixed grill.
The food and service here were both great. Three of us came for an early meal, (which is the only reason I gave four stars for atmosphere as it was quite quiet). The staff were very attentive, especially our server, Saj. All of the food was full of flavour…the portion sizes were great. If we were ever visiting York again we would definitely come here. A very nice touch of a farewell Baileys drink to send us in our way was most appreciated! 😁
A first visit and amazing! No booking but given a table for four instantly and without fuss, even though it was busy. The service was fast and fun and great care taken with ordering and service from start to finish. The food was outstanding and hot towel and peppermint to finish. Such a magical evening and the value for money was on point. Highly recommend when hungry and in York. 🙏
