Great restaurant, different prices depending on when you go during the day. I would recommend going very hungry! If you go in the evening with a partner that doesn’t eat a lot, you may be better off doing the lunchtime special. But they are very generous, the staff are amazing and very friendly.
This place matched my idea of heaven. Super friendly. Super efficient service. Superb meats. Crazily enough one of the stars of the show wasn't even one of the meats served fresh. It was the slow cooked Brisket on the 'all you can eat' buffet. The place deserves all the recognition it gets.
Loved this restaurant. Originally went for my birthday, then returned again for our anniversary a month later. Decided to hold off on a review until I felt I had fully experienced it! I particularly enjoyed the mushrooms with my many and various meats. But the absolute highlight for me was a juicily delightful slice of lamb. You could, to be fair, easily fill up on the salad bar due to the variety; but you of course come for the meat really (again, though, my wife and I both loved the cinnamon-covered pineapple - who'd have thought?!). Fast service, you get looked after well and are rarely left without something on your plate. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely amazing trip out today with my wife and 2 kids. The welcome and service was 10/10. The food was so tasty and the cuts of meat were excellent. Buffet and drinks were also brillaint. Fantastic service, explaining how things worked and always attentive. Well worth the money and would return to York just to eat here again.
Make sure you book at this popular spot as it incredibly popular. The food was outstanding, the service was efficient but personal. The range of meats was fantastic and all cooked to perfection. Make sure you have elasticated waist for your trousers!
