Plumber

<p>Your new company<br />As the sole agency supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades and support operatives. Hays is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Plumber for HMP Full Sutton. This is an exciting opportunity to work permanently within the prison service. <br /><br />Your new role</p> <ul> <li>Inspect, maintain, and service plumbing systems to prevent faults and ensure safe operation.</li><li>Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures</li><li>Install and upgrade pipework, fittings, and plumbing equipment as required</li><li>Respond to emergency call-outs, isolating supplies and carrying out urgent repairs</li><li>Ensure all work complies with health &amp; safety regulations, completing reports and paperwork</li></ul> <p><br />You may be required to assist other trades as and when needed. <br />You will be required to complete and pass a security clearance prior to starting the position - generally taking around 12-16 weeks.<br /><br />What you'll need to succeed<br />Level 2 or 3 qualification in Plumbing <br />You must be able to pass a full prison security clearance and enhanced DBS (if required) (Hays and the MOJ are responsible for organising all security clearances and DBS') You must hold a valid passport or Full Birth Certificate &amp; Photo Driving Licence at your current address. <br />You must have proof of National Insurance AND proof of address dated in the past 3 months. <br />All applicants must be able to provide details of at least 2 satisfactory employment references.<br /><br />What you need to do now <br />If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
