Management Accountant
<p><strong>Management Accountant - 12 Month FTC - York (office based with flexibility around hours)</strong></p> <p>Campbell Grove Talent are working exclusively with a brilliant York based business who are looking to recruit a <strong>Management Accountant </strong>on a 12 month FTC.</p> <p>This is a big, and busy business where there's a lot going on across Finance.</p> <p>If you’re keen to develop quickly and gain hands on exposure to a complex set of accounts, this role will challenge you in a positive way. Realistically, you’ll gain broader experience here over 12 months than you might in many permanent positions.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p> <p>You’ll support the UK retail management accounts process end-to-end, not just processing numbers, but understanding them.</p> <p>Day to day, that looks like:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting the preparation of UK retail management accounts</li><li>Journals, prepayments and accruals</li><li>Producing balance sheet reconciliations</li><li>Getting under the skin of the P&L, supporting it and owning parts of it</li><li>Dealing with credit cards and company expenses</li><li>Responding to queries from across the business and building relationships outside of finance</li><li>Customer payments and related queries</li></ul> <p><strong>What they’re looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ideally qualified CIMA/ACCA/ newly qualified.</li><li>Retail finance exposure would be great, but it’s not essential. It’s a fast moving environment and the accounts reflect that, so you’ll need to be comfortable with pace.</li><li>More than anything, attitude matters.
