<strong>Client Manager - Accountancy Practice</strong> <p><strong>York | Hybrid working | up to £52,000 plus benefits</strong></p> <p>We’re looking for an experienced <strong>Client Manager</strong> to lead people, clients and performance in a growing Accountancy Practice on the outskirts of York.</p> <p>This is a hands on leadership role for someone who enjoys owning delivery, building strong client relationships and getting the best out of their team.</p> <strong>The role as Client Manager:</strong> <ul> <li>Lead, coach and develop a team to deliver high quality client work on time</li><li>Manage workflows, deadlines and resources across a varied client portfolio</li><li>Act as a senior point of contact for clients </li><li>Comply with policies and procedures</li><li>Drive efficiency, quality and fee recovery</li><li>Spot opportunities to add value, upsell services and support business growth</li><li>Work closely with the Board and other senior leaders to shape plans and priorities</li></ul> <strong>What you’ll bring:</strong> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li>Ideally ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE </li><li>Proven experience at Senior/Client Manager level (or ready to step up) in Practice</li><li>Solid experience in a UK based firm </li><li>Strong technical grounding in accounting and tax</li><li>Confident people manager who leads from the front</li><li>Commercial mindset with excellent client handling skills</li><li>Organised, decisive and calm under pressure</li><li>Comfortable juggling priorities and improving systems and processes</li></ul> <strong>Why join?</strong> <ul> <li>Salary c£50,000 plus benefits</li><li>Hybrid working </li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>Supportive, collaborative culture with room to make your mark</li></ul> <p>If you’re currently in Practice and enjoy responsibility, autonomy and impact, we’d love to hear from you.</p> <p>For further details please reach out to Emma Dugdale or Lucy Regan.</p>
