Paraplanner
<p><strong>The Company:</strong> A highly reputable, growing IFA business with offices across the country are currently recruiting an industry experienced Paraplanner to add to their expanding, remote-working focused adviser support team. This role/remit will suit a well-qualified, career Paraplanner head who is looking for a flexible, home-based opportunity that remains hands on across a broad range of technical work.</p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li><strong>Head Office Location:</strong> York</li><li><strong>Working Setup:</strong> Remote/Home-based</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Package: </strong>£42-48k base DOE + bonus and company benefits</p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li><strong>Bonus:</strong> Discretionary – Paid annually</li><li><strong>Holidays:</strong> 25-days + stats</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>The Role: </strong>To succeed in this role, you will have day to day responsibility for clients and will be expected to provide support for key areas of the financial planning process which include:</p> <ul> <li>Tax Planning: ISA and pension contributions & CGT planning</li><li>Investment planning and retirement planning</li><li>Estate planning#</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>To achieve this, you will:</p> <p><br /></p> <ul> <li>Prepare and attend client meetings alongside the Financial Planner and produce meeting notes which accurately reflect the information gathered in order to fully document a client’s financial needs and objectives.</li><li>Compile suitability reports</li><li>Undertake support duties to the Financial Planner in order to effectively service the client in a fair and ethical manner.</li><li>Maintain an ongoing relationship with the clients, keeping them informed, answering queries and arranging review meetings where appropriate.</li><li>Effectively use research and planning systems and platforms such as FE Analytics, Selectapension, CashCalc, AJ Bell Investcentre, Aegon (ex Cofunds).</li><li>Be responsible for ensuring that recommendations are fully implemented in a timely manner and to the right quality.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, compliance and regulatory developments.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>The Person: </strong>The successful candidate must come from an IFA/wealth management background and have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience within technical paraplanning. Essential qualifications and experience includes:</p> <ul> <li>Being QCF level 4 Diploma qualified </li><li>Prior experience in a whole of market, IFA advice environment ideally with exposure to complex-case work including IHT planning and trusts</li><li>Demonstrable knowledge of, and proficiency in, FE Analytics, Selectapension, CashCalc, AJ Bell Investcentre, Aegon (ex Cofunds) or similar.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>What next?</strong> Please send CV applications to Chris at CB3 Associates Ltd and they will be reviewed inside 24 hours. </p> <p><br /></p>
