Here, you’ll build strong professional relationships, gain exposure across multiple locations and play a hands-on role in shaping places people are proud to call home.<br /><br />As a Senior Portfolio Property Manager, managing AST tenancies, with some small blocks, you will join a team of 10 within our busy Sales and Lettings office in York. <br /><br />We offer a highly competitive salary package which includes a fantastic benefits package including a variety of flexible benefits allowing you to choose those that suit your personal circumstances including purchasing additional leave, health cash plans, cycle to work scheme and so on!<br /><br /><strong>Main tasks:</strong><br /><ul> <li>Carry out six-monthly property inspections across the SFH portfolio</li><li>Identify and report maintenance, health & safety and compliance issues</li><li>Coordinate and conduct tenant move-ins, check-ins and check-outs</li><li>Complete and review inventory checks at the start and end of tenancies</li><li>Ensure properties are presented to a high standard prior to occupancy</li><li>Compare check-out conditions against inventories and report damages or issues</li><li>Liaise with contractors, tenants and internal teams as required</li><li>Maintain accurate inspection notes, reports and records on property systems</li></ul> <strong>What will it take to be successful?</strong><br /><br />The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a client-facing property management role, with a background in PRS, Single-Family Housing, Multi-Family Build-to-Rent or within a leading lettings agency. They will demonstrate excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage their workload confidently and independently. Highly organised and detail-focused, they will bring sound judgement, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive, professional, and collaborative approach. A high level of discretion and confidentiality is essential. Block management experience is beneficial but not required.
