<p><strong>Residential Property Solicitor/Team Manager </strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> York <strong>(Hybrid after probation)</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong> £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> 5+ years PQE</p> <p>SJC Partners are assisting a Legal 500 Law firm who are looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their growing team based in York. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional who is looking to take the next step in their career, particularly those interested in developing management and supervisory experience.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>This position is being introduced to support the continued growth of their Residential Property department. The successful candidate will work on a broad caseload while also contributing to team development, including:</p> <ul> <li>Supervising Trainee Solicitors</li><li>Conducting one-to-one meetings with support staff</li><li>Providing guidance, training, and day-to-day support to team members</li></ul> <p>Candidates without previous management experience will still be considered. They are happy to provide full training for those who wish to develop leadership skills as part of their long-term career goals.</p> <p><strong>What they're looking for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum <strong>5 years PQE</strong> in Residential Property</li><li>Strong technical knowledge and confident file-handling ability</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>A supportive, proactive approach to team development</li><li>Interest in (or experience with) management and supervision</li></ul> <p><strong>Working Arrangements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Probation period: Fully office-based (5 days per week) to ensure full training and integration</li><li>After probation: Minimum 3 days per week in the office, particularly to support staff supervision and face-to-face training</li></ul> <p>If this opportunity sounds of interest, please get in touch with Ashleigh O'Hagan at SJC Partners to discuss further.</p>
