<p><b>Wastewater Pump Engineer</b></p> <p><b>Northern Region – Based from York </b></p> <p><b>Contact:</b> Emily or Sammy at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment </p> <p>Permanent | Door-to-Door Pay | OTE &#163;60k&#43; </p> <p>Are you a mechanically and electrically skilled Pump Engineer looking for a role that offers real earning potential, varied technical work and long-term stability? </p> <p>We’re working with a well-established, fast-growing engineering business operating across water infrastructure, installation and specialist pump projects. Due to continued contract growth, they are strengthening their Northern engineering team. </p> <p>This is not a basic service role. You’ll be involved in technically varied installations, fault finding and project-based works across wastewater infrastructure. </p> <p><b>What You’ll Be Doing:</b></p> <ul> <li>Service, maintenance and installation of wastewater &amp; clean water pumping systems </li><li>Electrical fault finding on pump controls and associated systems </li><li>Mechanical pump removal, replacement and installation </li><li>Working across sewage pumping stations and treatment sites </li><li>Supporting technical installation and commissioning projects </li><li>Working across both reactive and planned works </li><li>Participating in a 1-in-4 on-call rota </li></ul> <p>You’ll be paid <b>door to door</b>, and work will be kept regional where possible. </p> <p><b>What We’re Looking For:</b></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4 years’ experience working on pump systems </li><li>Strong mechanical AND electrical capability (dual-skilled essential) </li><li>Level 3 electrical qualification desirable </li><li>Utilities background highly advantageous (Thames, Southern, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities etc.) </li><li>Comfortable working outdoors and in varied site environments </li><li>Based within 45 minutes of York </li></ul> <p>This role suits engineers who enjoy technical challenge rather than repetitive servicing. </p> <p><b>The Package:</b></p> <ul> <li>Competitive basic salary </li><li><b>Minimum OTE &#163;60,000&#43; per annum</b></li><li>Bonus schemes </li><li>Company vehicle &amp; fuel card </li><li>Door-to-door pay </li><li>Specialist tools provided </li><li>Genuine long-term progression opportunities </li></ul> <p>If you’re looking for a role where your skills are properly valued and earning potential reflects your experience — this is worth a conversation. </p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p>
