Field Service Engineer (Coffee)

<p>Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer specialising in coffee equipment? Do you have hands-on experience with bean-to-cup machines and a passion for delivering high-quality service to clients? This is your chance to join a friendly, professional, and well-established engineering company in the North-East.</p> <p>We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the North-East region and occasionally up to Scotland.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>This is a field-based role with a focus on coffee equipment. You will install, maintain, and repair bean-to-cup machines and other coffee systems, ensuring excellent service for all clients. You’ll be supported during training and expected to work independently once confident in your skills.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Service, maintain, and repair bean-to-cup coffee machines and related equipment</li><li>Use company systems to log work, track tasks, and record service notes accurately</li><li>Travel within the North-East region and occasionally up to Scotland</li><li>Maintain excellent customer service, acting as the professional face of the company</li><li>Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures on-site</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and professional development</li></ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Essential: Hands-on experience with coffee machines, especially bean-to-cup systems</li><li>Exposure to brands such as Coffetek or similar is highly desirable</li><li>Proven field service experience, ideally in engineering, mechanical, or electrical systems</li><li>Confident working independently and troubleshooting on-site</li><li>Strong organisational and time-management skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly attitude</li><li>Flexible approach with the willingness to travel within your area</li></ul> <p><strong>Why This Role?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary of &#163;32,000 - &#163;35,000/Annum</li><li>Company car provided </li><li>Rare stay-away work – mostly local travel</li><li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service, plus Christmas closure)</li><li>Friendly, supportive team with excellent staff retention</li></ul> <p>Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p>
