<strong>Interim Credit Controller</strong><br /><br />An opportunity to support the Debt Control Team with a 12-month project; Cleansing the aged debt ledger across a number of UK practices as part of a systems migration, as well as assisting with business as usual credit control tasks<br /><br /><strong>What you will be doing</strong><br /><br />Joining our Central Finance Team on a 12-Month fixed-term contract, you will be able to:<br />• Represent a number of practices, at their request, ensuring the debt collection process is adhered to<br />• Follow the practice terms, conditions and timelines (which may differ depending on the practice)<br />• Liaise with Clinical Directors, Practice Managers and BDD’s to agree any escalations<br />• Escalate files for legal action (via our preferred third-party debt collectors)<br />• Complete account reconciliation and allocations on the practice management system<br />• Answer Credit Control phone enquiries<br />• Monitor Credit Control inboxes<br />• Complete month end and Ad-hoc reporting<br />• Follow the write off process<br />• Support the Debt Control Manager and the business towards the achievement of the Group’s strategy, goals and objectives<br />• Follow FCA guidance (non-regulated business) <br />• Undertake visits to VetPartners sites where necessary (Driving licence required, valid for the UK)<br />• To support the Debt Control Team with any other duties as and when required<br /><br /><strong>What we are looking for</strong><br /><ul> <li>Experience of working in credit control is preferred </li><li>Must be able to learn new systems quickly, as well as being able to export reports and download them into Excel; strong Excel skills will be key to the post</li><li>Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths (A-C / grade 4 or above)</li><li>Excellent communication/interpersonal skills</li><li>Good customer service</li><li>Excellent organisation skills and ability to multi-task</li><li>Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail </li><li>Professional and approachable </li><li>Able to work independently using own initiative, perform effectively under pressure, and work confidently under instruction and guidance</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Team and Zoom</li></ul> <br /><strong>Why join us</strong><br /><ul> <li>Be part of VetPartners’ supportive central finance team.</li><li>Work with a values-led organisation where people, animals and practices come first.</li><li>Opportunity to influence good debt control practice across a large UK and Ireland group.</li><li>Collaborative culture with approachable leaders and trusted colleagues.</li></ul> <br /><strong>Flexibility and inclusion</strong><br /><br />We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected and supported.
