Quality Inspector (Mechanical Engineering)

The role focuses on ensuring mechanical components, sub-assemblies and finished products meet required engineering, quality and compliance standards, helping to support smooth production and customer expectations.</p> <p><strong>Quality Inspector - Key responsibilities - Mechanical Engineering</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Inspect incoming mechanical parts against engineering drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Complete in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies</p> </li><li> <p>Identify, record and escalate non-conformances in line with QMS procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when issues arise</p> </li><li> <p>Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances and specifications accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Help maintain calibration compliance and traceability of inspection equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately log inspection outcomes and quality data within the ERP system</p> </li><li> <p>Support goods-in and goods-out checks during busy periods to prevent delays</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Quality Inspector - Essential experience - Mechanical Engineering</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Mechanical engineering background or strong hands-on inspection experience</p> </li><li> <p>Confident working with mechanical drawings and tolerances</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience in quality inspection or mechanical inspection</p> </li><li> <p>Good computer skills</p> </li><li> <p>High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Quality Inspector, Mechanical Engineering</strong></p> <p>If you’re interested, apply today and we’ll share full details on the client and the next steps in the process.</p>
