Heslington Post Office

Excellent service, ever since change of ownership recently the staff greet me with a smile here and are very helpful, and offer friendly customer service, particularly with when I needed help returning two items to different addresses which they advised me well with and dealt with it professionally. Also they have changed their opening times to a more later closing time and I personally find this much more convenient.

There's been lots of times I've turned up well within their opening hours to find they've closed hours earlier than advertised, and even when they are open there's often nobody at the counter as if the staff are trying to avoid you. Feels like they just come and go as they please - not a very reliable service.

Awful. As many others have said before me, the people who run this post office are very rude & unhappy, especially the male - who I think is called Richard. Have been in a few times, & each time he has been abrupt, impatient (even with an empty shop) & looks at you like you're a piece of dirt when you dare to ask him a question or interact with him. Have also found him on occasion outright unhelpful & argumentative. He clearly hates people so God knows why he works with members of the public when he has zero customer service or communication skills. The lady with the short blonde hair is slightly more approachable. My advice would be to avoid this place & use the post office on Broadway in Fulford where they are much more friendly & helpful.

Always been personable on my visits. The guy behind the counter who served me today had on a very tight pair of pink shorts which I found hilarious....had to stifle my laugh.
