Completely sociopathic level of distain for customers. Never experienced such rudeness. Sheer narcissism and disdain on display from staff. If you hate your job that much, leave. I went and happily paid the exorbitant postage at the Colliergate post office where the gentleman who served me was an absolute delight and totally professional. I know who won’t ever be getting my money again!

The two ladies working behind the counter on Friday 2nd August at around 3pm are amazing! They helped us out so much with sending some visa applications, took their time explaining everything and made sure we understood everything about the process. They were both just lovely, we are so grateful :)

I went to this post office, I had a form and one of the staff who is an nice lady, she is very respectful and professional while she was dealing with my post, an Indian person who is the owner unfortunately, he started to shout out loud on that poor lady and approaching us un professionally tell me that the form that I have is wrong without even he knows what form I have and even without see my form or ask what I want, I feel so sorry for that lady. This kind of person should not be allowed to be at a service place like post office.

This now relocated post office from Lendal into W. H. Smiths will never be the same as the great original one in Lendal. Service is good but not much space for long lines of people at Christmas time. Myself preferred the grand original post office where room was plenty full and it was just about the post office. I dislike having to walk through big stores to get to the post office but it seems it's the way to go now.. If you like browsing books etc before purchasing your post office buys then that's fine but I find it distracting and irritating myself..

This Post office has the worst customer service EVER. At a Sunday about 4:30 pm, there were two queues open (one for money, one for post services) but only one cashier. The signage was pretty: Post customers to the left, others to the right. In the post queue, one customer in front of me got served. After that, there was a travel money customer exchanging 1000+ GBP in foreign currencies, which took forever. After it was my turn again, they suddenly told that the post queue is closed and there is only one queue now. Customers behind me had the same faith. So I waited half an hour for nothing. Please avoid this store, unless you want to rely on the arbitrariness of their rude staff. And of course, the self service Machines were closed despite them being highly understaffed.
