Alterations Express

Needed an alteration, and arrived looking for help. Assumed that “alterations express” would be a quick and helpful experience. Can confirm our experience was neither of those things. Although they sounded helpful over the phone, they could not promise any kind of turnaround within the next few weeks upon arriving. The kicker? We didn’t even get to show the clothing, or go into depth with what we needed. They just couldn’t be bothered. Not very professional at all.

Took a pair of trousers with a large hole in the back; they patched them up well with a really well-matched colour. They also took my other jeans up and did it in a matter of days! Would definitely recommend.

Avoid at all costs! Young woman on the front desk was perfectly nice and civil, but the older woman with the dyed blonde hair was extremely rude and impatient because I didn't understand her colleague's rather vague question. She laughed and smirked at me in an extremely offensive way and then claimed she hadn't been rude at all when called out on it. Bullies don't deserve to be in business!

They sewed some buttons back onto my coat, one by one they came off over the space of three weeks. One button now lost forever.

Decided on going to them to shorten the sleeves of my jacket since it seemed as if they were the only alteration shop that bothered to reply on their reviews. They worked on my jacket well and on time. Not sure why other people are giving bad reviews but I guess some people are just a little too entitled.
