Excellent communication from the initial call through to booking — Kate and Lewis were quick and helpful throughout. I needed a radiator replaced and new valves fitted on another. I was on a tight schedule, so it was a huge relief that they were able to fit the job in when I needed it. With other plumbers and heating engineers, I’ve often experienced long waits, frequent chasing, or last-minute rescheduling — none of that with Hartleys. The engineer, Tommy, arrived on time and was incredibly efficient. He got straight to work and completed everything in no time at all. The workmanship was excellent, and he left the place clean and tidy. I’ve already booked them again to replace two more radiators. Well done, Hartleys — you clearly have a great team in place!

Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. Lewis was a fantastic project manager, professional, friendly, and genuinely went above and beyond. I even sent him screenshots of my online shopping basket when ordering the bathroom suite and tiles, and he took the time to check everything over before I placed the order, such a reassuring extra touch. The whole team, plumbers, electrician, joiner, were just as impressive. Friendly, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. They often put in long hours to keep everything on track, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished space. The full bathroom was ripped out and completely refitted in under two weeks, which kept disruption to a minimum. I couldn’t be happier with the result or the process. Outstanding Service from Hartleys Plumbing & Heating Hartleys Plumbing & Heating have just replaced the boiler at my elderly mum’s house, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. Initially, we were trying to keep the old boiler running, and the team went above and beyond — flushing the radiators, replacing a failed valve, and fitting a new pump to give the system a fighting chance. Their integrity really stood out: they never replaced parts unnecessarily and genuinely tried to get the existing equipment working. As more issues emerged and the tank in the airing cupboard also needed attention, I made the decision to upgrade to a modern combi boiler. The Hartleys team completed the full installation in just over a day. Even when they hit some technical challenges with the Hive system — which I needed so I could remotely control Mum’s heating — they stuck with it and made sure everything was set up perfectly. Their communication and expectation management throughout were excellent, and their pricing was very fair and cost-effective. It’s rare to find a company that combines skill, reliability and genuine care, but Hartleys absolutely do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Outstanding work and real peace of mind.

Lewis came out at very short notice to fix a leak in the ceiling after we were let down last minute by another plumber. Great service and very professional, will definitely be using them again in the future! Highly recommended
