*UPDATE* It’s been a week since I registered my complaint and even though the website says you’ll be contacted in 24 hours I’ve not had a response. Stay away from this company. —- I explained to Kieran that I lived hours away and needed the right car before committing to travel. He assured me the car was in great condition, sent me a personalised video highlighting only minor issues, and confirmed it was the dark grey I wanted. Based on his assurances and a promised repair to the front, I placed a deposit, cancelled another, and later paid in full as delivery was agreed. From then, communication became difficult. Delivery was repeatedly pushed to late-night slots, and after insisting on a daytime delivery so I could see the car properly, I waited an extra week. When the car finally arrived, it was not as described. It was the wrong colour (a lighter grey, despite Kieran’s guarantee), and it had major undisclosed defects: poor repairs to both doors, scratches on almost every panel, rust on the passenger sill, and no evidence of the promised front-end repair. I reported this within an hour, asking for a return and refund. At one point they offered to take the car back but said they would only decide afterwards what paintwork they might fix. They refused to confirm in advance what repairs would actually be carried out. I was also told they didn’t have the correct paint for the car, so the finish might not match, and that with transport included there would be many additional miles put on the car. Ultimately, I was told to bring the car back myself if I wasn’t happy, despite having been mis-sold and misled. I received no apology, no attempt to put things right, and was left unable to feed my baby all day while dealing with this. The entire experience left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and treated differently purely because I’m a woman. The lack of care, honesty, and professionalism was shocking. My time, money, and trust have been wasted, and instead of accountability, I was met with indifference.

Drew was excellent throughout the whole process of buying our first hybrid car. Answering all our queries with professionalism. Patience and humour. Went on an extensive test drive and would wholeheartedly recommend him and the dealership.

It was great dealing with Drew at Evans Halshaw. He was really helpful and wasn't at all pushy. Car shopping can be a chore but Drew made it fun and relaxed. Would definitely use them again.
