We have had the best service and support from this garage. Jack and Ash were amazing. The team were genuinely friendly, helpful and honest. We took our son's car ( at the last minute)for an MOT at this garage. Unfortunately, it did not pass and Jack patiently went through all the break down of all the costs and explained carefully what options we had to sort the car out. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt really great about the service I received. As the car was dangerous, I could not drive it home and lovely Ash kindly offered to give me a lift home. What a gentleman! We decided not to have the work done on our car as it was not worth it and Jack has been so helpful in letting us take our time to sort out the removal of our car. Such a good guy. Also, a lady whose car had broken down nearby was helped by Jack and the team, even though she wasn't a customer. Honestly, it was a delight to do business with these people and I cannot recommend them highly enough for their outstanding service and great community spirit. Keep us the good work! What a total disgrace! Booked in for tyre repair and went to reception to check in at allocated time only to be told to sit in customer area. They then proceeded to serve the next 2 men who came in after me. I then had to queue at reception again to once again book in. Left my keys and informed it would probably take an hr but they would call me. Arrived back at the garage 2 hrs 20 mins after my booked slot to be informed they had not had time to do it?? No apologies. But I was told I could ring at the weekend to see if they could ‘fit me in’. Well if they cannot do it when you pre book a time then it’s unlikely that they can accommodate you on the day booking. I’m sure the guys before me had their cars done! It’s a shame that misogyny and sexism still exists today. A complaint has gone to head office. They then sent an email saying they were sorry my booking was cancelled but if I would like to rebook then just call them! I think they need some staff training on sexism and inclusion!

Greg & Adam at the York centre were absolutely amazing. Was visiting York for the weekend, got a flat on a 22" tyre & couldn't get back home. Greg urgently sourced a replacement, price matched with online, and ensured it was fitted in great time, despite them being mega busy. Really appreciate it, lads, highly recommend for the incredible customer service and empathy!

Extremely disappointed with the service given. My car had its MOT 2 weeks ago here and I was given 3 majors so failed it's MOT obviously, I spent all day at a garage yesterday having these defects fixed which cost me £500. I was told by the MOT tester the first time that my car needed a flywheel and clutch at some point but this isn't something that can fail a MOT as it isn't part of the test (the car is a bit shaky because of this). I took the car back today after having fixed what was requested and a different MOT tester refused to test my car leaving me yet again with no MOT. Considering the clutch and flywheel aren't part of the test this was utterly ridiculous and would not recommend using these and will not return. (Shame I signed up to Halford s premium last month, what a waste) EDIT 09/10: I have since been to a competitor down the road who only advised on changing my number plate which I have and it passed the MOT, no refusal to test, a lot more professional and cheaper MOT as well

This place is a complete joke. A simple job of fitting one tyre ended up in a heated argument. Firstly they said they didnt have a jack big enough for a LWB Mercedes Sprinter but obviously they do. Then told me they didnt have the equipment to balance a Mercedes Sprinter wheel and couldn't fit the tyre because he couldn't complete the job without balancing. After standing around for over an hour I told him to just fit the tyre. He really wasn't happy to do this as he couldn't balance after fitting and said I'll do it but wouldn't put his name on the job. I replied i don't care just fit the tyre I've been stood around for over an hour. Why is the online systems accepting jobs the technicians can't do or can't be bothered to do? I've been going to this garage for over 15 years and every time there's been a problem. That was absolutely my last visit, what a complete joke.
