Utterly Useless and totally incompetent staff Came several times to collect my prescription but everything was out of order and chaotic they can’t even remember where they kept the prescription on the same day. And asked to came back after sometime till they find it out. I came back after an hour and the girl said sorry i couldn’t find it I need to tell one of my staff member to find it now. And she left. She did this previously with one of our friends as well. And the other lady found our prescription in just a minute. I don’t know her name because she was not wearing her badge but totally helpless and arrogant staff. Never will I use the services from this pharmacy. Please find another pharmacy.
Utterly useless. My partner has now been waiting 5 months for them to fulfil a prescription. The pharmacy has received multiple updates and queries from the supplier over this time but has never bothered to pick up the phone and pass any of this on to either us or the doctors to resolve. They also never answer the phone so we have to go in to the store to find out what’s going on. This could have been sorted within weeks with only the most basic levels of communication.
I recently visited Boots the Chemist to collect an emergency prescription for my terminally ill wife, who is battling lung cancer and urgently needed Salbutamol for her nebuliser. Given the critical nature of her condition, I expected a level of urgency and compassion from the staff. Instead, I was met by a staff member who appeared completely indifferent to our situation, I was casually told "It's not available, we'll text you when it's ready, then you can come back and collect it." No concern, no effort to help, and no recognition of the distress this causes for a terminally ill patient struggling to breathe. For a pharmacy entrusted with providing life-saving medication, this level of carelessness and disregard is unacceptable. Patients who rely on urgent prescriptions should not be treated as an inconvenience. I strongly urge Boots to reassess their customer service training, particularly when dealing with patients in palliative care. A little empathy costs nothing, but it makes all the difference.
I wasn’t going to complain but I’d like you to be aware . My daughter 20 yr , 3rd yr in uni came in to be given some medication (doctor's can no longer prescribe this ) annoyingly! . You took her blood pressure and told her she had an irregular heart beat and to ring the doctors or call 911. I live 4 hours away, so when she rang me in tears and very scared. I’m telling her not to worry it can be normal she’s had a lot on her plate with a new start to the year. She finally got appointment within half hour with her doctor's who re took blood pressure and ECG. All was ok and said Boot machine must be playing up. PLEASE in future be aware these students are vulnerable and are away from family and home.
Terrible service on good Friday, we were on holiday and asked to buy some antibiotic eye drops and were told by an assistant to go to the Drs, given this is a bank holiday weekend and there were no doctors open until the Tuesday, we were then advised to go to the local hospital,, working in a pharmacy myself I explained exactly what we needed to buy and was told quite rudely that this wasn't personal ( obviously it was personal) but were turned away,, had to race across York back to the car ( 2 kids in tow) and google an asda that were more then willing to help!
