Monkbar Pharmacy

Very disappointing experience. Needed medication urgently for a child. Tried to call in advance to check stock, but impossible to get through to someone which is not clear on their website. When I arrived was told it was not in stock (in a fairly rude way) and by then all other pharmacies were closed. When I got home, they responded to an email (sent previously to check stock) saying they checked the wrong shelf and actually did have it in stock and could have given it to me. A child had to suffer in pain for another 12hours because of their mistake before we got the medication from another pharmacy in the morning.

They are absolutely useless, they allow only 3 people inside at a time letting you freeze outside, you end up waiting forever to be served only to find out half of your prescription is missing even though you have been text it is ready. A day later you get a text to say its ready & bits are still missing. Every month im without prescription for about a week & this is literally every month there is some sort of problem & this has been going on for years. It so badly managed in all different aspects & completely sick of it. The only reason I kept going was for its convenience but its not convenient when you are having to do 3 trips & going without your meds. There is so much more that I wouldn't be able to fit in the post but from talking to people in the que its always the same things people are pissed off with.

Excellent service here ⭐🙏☺️ I just wanted to give a shout out and appreciation to all staff and the lead pharmacist especially who was extremely helpful tonight, giving me lots of advice. Very caring, knowledgeable, and was very considerate and helpful. Thank you ☺️🙏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The most incredible manager ever!! They handled our issue discreetly, safely, and confidentially! They did everything to make us feel welcome and safe. True LGBTQIA+ allies!! Could not recommend more!

My partner needed to pick up several prescriptions and we were helped by the lovely Michelle, she was so patient and helpful considering we arrived so close to the pharmacy closing, and she explained to us in detail how to sort a pre-paid prescription through the NHS website to save money. Amazing customer service from Michelle thank you! 😄🩷
