Went in on Saturday after a long day of looking at sofas at various different shops. Sofology was the last place to visit on my list simply as it’s just on the way out from Clifton moor towards home. I was exhausted and completely worn out from looking at sofas. I was greeted by Tim, it was 4:30 and he had the biggest smile and the warmest welcome. He was the only one all day from all the other sofa shops we visited that offered us a drink which I was super grateful for. He talked me through the range, asked for what I need vs what I want. I went back on Sunday, to finalise the colours and fabrics etc and decide on the final sofa and Monday it was ordered. As I was very indecisive James and a lovely lady assisted me with my decision along with Tim also. Nothing was too much of a hassle for them. Such a wonderful team and I’m so grateful for my experience with them all! We had a laugh throughout it and they truly made my buying journey super special. Thank you Tim & James for your patience and kindness. You are both an asset to the company!
December 2023 My experience with Sofology York has been deeply disappointing. I placed an order for a sofa, enticed by the promise and guarantee of a Christmas delivery, only to face continual setbacks. Initially, their app indicated a delay until January, contradicting the assurance of the customer service center that it was a technical glitch and the sofa would indeed arrive before Christmas. However, my hopes were dashed when I received another email from their customer services team confirming the delayed delivery until January. Not only did Sofology mislead me with conflicting information, but they also offered a mere 5% compensation for the late delivery. Their lack of accountability is staggering. They had the chance to let me walk away from the deal if it couldn't meet the promised deadline. Instead, they held me captive for six weeks, leaving me sofa-less for the festive season. Sofology's customer service falls short, showcasing a classic example of overpromising and underdelivering. I would strongly advise potential customers to steer clear to avoid similar disappointing experiences. They’ll overpromise and underdeliver
Tim and Daria were so lovely and so helpful. Very professional, excellent service and so knowledgeable. Would recommend buying sofas from here. Took the time to go through the entire store with us to ensure we were happy with what we were buying. Couldn’t recommend more
Didn’t actually buy anything but my van broke down outside and gemma made me drinks and let me sit inside so I wasn’t stuck outside on my own which I thought was really good and clearly she’s a very nice honest person. Probably a good person to buy a sofa from ;)
