Prices are good, but some of the staff need to work on their customer service skills. Was waiting to use the fitting rooms, but the 2 members of staff (girls) thought it was okay to talk to each other instead of attending to their customers
Cracking store with loads of trainers to choose from, all reduced by up to 50%. as well as a selection of men's, women's, and kids' clothing again all reduced up to 50%. There were loads of staff all eager to help. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic service by a team member yesterday evening I didn’t get he’s name but he went above and beyond to help me Around 4.30pm I want to say a big thank you!!! It was the running top you helped me with Thank you again!
Great prices, huge selection, workers always willing to help
I have waited to leave this review because we raised a complaint to Head Office, and unfortunately as it was not resolved well, I am now leaving this one here: We came in a few months ago for my partners birthday. I was going to treat him to a new pair of trainers, so he was browsing all of the shoes. He found a pair he liked, but there was a small defect on the shoe. The manager granted a 10% discount but stated they cannot be refunded if we accept this - absolutely fine. I’ve worked in retail and understand the concept. Went to the till, discount was added, I went to select ‘digital receipt’ on the self-serve till and a staff member called Emily literally PUSHED in front of me and pressed ‘paper’. I asked her what on earth she was doing, to which she stated I am ‘not allowed to have a digital receipt’. Now, I’m not trying to be one of those people who starts stating their rights, but I do, and I did. You’re not allowed to refuse the customer’s chosen form of receipt option. It’s literally in the Consumer Rights Act. So naturally this caused a big issue, and she said it’s because she needs to write ‘non refundable’ on the receipt so I can’t bring the shoes back. I said it was fine, but I still wanted a digital receipt. She refused. The manager got involved, also tried to refuse me a digital receipt for a good ten minutes. During this discussion, Emily continued to walk past and make snide comments and snort whenever she overheard me speaking. I’ve no idea where you find these staff members but MY GOD do they need a wake-up call and some training. To clarify; if you are going to refuse a refund due to a defect, BY LAW you need to state the defect on the receipt. This ensures the customer can still return the item if there is a different issue with the product, but not this specified one (again - stated in the Consumer Rights Act). Moving on, we got no receipt and left. I raised a complaint with Head Office. Got nowhere for a good 3 weeks. They kept telling me they’d raise it to the store. I explained they can’t, because the complaint was ABOUT the manager. How can the manager deal with a complaint about themselves? Seriously…? Eventually, a Manager from Head Office emails me and apologises. He advises that their idea of a resolution is to just not offer a discount on defective items. No mention of training for the staff, no comment on how Emily behaved, or her Manager. As a ‘gesture of goodwill’ we were offered a £20 voucher. He posted it to me without further comment and that was that. Wouldn’t recommend visiting here AT ALL. There’s so many reviews about poor customer service and rude staff, and honestly I’ve never seen anything like it. Ruined my partner’s birthday and I’m still fuming to this day.
