Ordered a pair of trainers on line. Went to collect. Checked the item before leaving the store and I'm glad I did as the trainers had dirty soles showing signs of wear. Was given the email to get a refund. Emailed customer services and attached an image of the trainers. Only to receive an email back asking me to send an image showing the issue. This feels like its going to be a long drawn out process to get my money back!!! Update i received the return label so sent the trainers back. The refund was sent once they received the item though I had to get in touch as they did not refund the full price I paid. I was told that they would be processing the remainder of my money and should recieve it in the next 5 days. I wonder how many times they have short changed on the refunds as some people probably not notice or check. I will NOT be buying anything from this company again

This place is great, price, variation and variety. But I am sure they are missing on so much money because there is ALWAYS a huge delay at the cashier. I have had to leave things and go else where just because of the length of the queue. In the photos I show you how empty the shop is. But in one of the photos where you see a lot of people standing that’s when you see that the delay is huge in the cashier service. Didn’t take a clearer number of the people standing to avoid needing to blur faces.

Extremely disappointed with this company. Their service is absolutely pathetic — my parcel never arrived, and there has been zero customer support throughout the process. They don’t reply to emails, and calls go unanswered. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company until they improve their reliability and basic customer service.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Absolutely appalling customer service, I went in knowing what I would buy but needed to ask a member of staff for the pair of shoes in my size. Not one not two not 3 but 5 staff completely ignored me when I asked for help. And the ones that did respond were rude. “I’m busy” rushing away to the break rooms not a “sorry I’ll help you later”. Sports direct you’d be better off if you replaced these useless staff with kiosks, so customers can actually find shoes they want.

Ria, a member of staff, gave exceptional service today. I was hoping to buy two of the same jacket, but only one was on the stand. While I was at the checkouts, I mentioned it to her, and she kindly went to look for another. Although there wasn’t one in my size, she went out of her way to find a similar jacket that worked perfectly. While she was gone, I also spotted another jacket I liked in a different size. Even though the store was busy, Ria remained happy and enthusiastic throughout. I felt like I might have been a bit awkward, but nothing was too much trouble. Her customer service really stood out. I can’t say the same for another staff member at the checkouts, who didn’t seem nearly as engaged or enthusiastic.
