I recently purchased a PS5 along with two controllers from CEX, and my experience was genuinely impressive from start to finish. From the moment I entered the store, I found the staff to be professional, approachable, and highly knowledgeable about their products. They were able to answer all my questions regarding the PS5, including warranty details and pre-owned device checks, which made me feel confident in my purchase. The PS5 and controllers themselves were in excellent condition, clearly well-maintained and tested. I appreciated that CEX rigorously checks their second-hand electronics before putting them up for sale — it gave me peace of mind that I wasn’t buying something that might have hidden issues. Setting up the console was straightforward, and both controllers worked flawlessly, with no noticeable wear or battery issues. The purchasing process was also smooth and transparent. CEX provides clear information about their warranty and return policies, which is reassuring when buying high-value items like gaming consoles. I particularly liked that they offer a short-term guarantee on pre-owned items, so you know you’re covered if anything goes wrong immediately after purchase. Overall, my experience with CEX exceeded expectations. Their combination of knowledgeable staff, quality-checked products, and transparent purchasing policies makes them a reliable choice for both new and pre-owned electronics. I’m extremely satisfied with my PS5 and controllers, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return for future purchases.
Was served today to sell my Samsung S24 yellow. Was served by a young South Asian male, had medium length wavy hair, was about 5ft5, cream / light grey jumper & silver chain ( refused to be given a name by his colleague , Zara because it’s against company policy). This person has 0 customer service skills, mumbles at you & it’s the coldest , least friendly interaction I’ve experienced. He initially gave us the wrong price & when we told him that we got another quote on your website, he shrugged his shoulders. Had to then ask him who would explain the difference at which point he reluctantly called his colleague , Zara. She was friendly enough & resolved the issue but he didn’t even apologise for getting it wrong. Had we not known better we’d have ended up £100 worse off.
Went in to buy a phone.. young lady seemed a bit 'dippy' without being too offensive... Not very professional at all... I still only bought the item due to the 5 year warranty, i was only given a receipt, no record of the transaction was made via email, surprisingly!
Items sold here are decent and value for money, however the customer service is extremely poor, its like the employees dont want to work and give one word answers back, which i found very rude, a smile goes a long way, but i guess either the training is poor or they are recruiting the wrong people. also i had to listen to two employees talking about their “night out on the razz” instead of serving me, i waited a short while and then said excuse me, then i got served. fix up Bradford CEX.
Helpful staff and easily resolved controller stick drift issue but I was hoping to ask. How much would it be to install hall effect sensors in my controller?
