Recently refurbished Chapter Two Bar dates back to the late 16th century.

Once the premier coaching in of Ryedale Rory and Jackie have taken the building back to it's former glory. With an old meets new lounge bar and cosy snug bar Chapter Two offers the more discerning customer a relaxing, friendly establishment to frequent.

Sitting behind the bar is the old town house which has been renovated comprising of six stylish and peaceful ensuite bed rooms. Three twin rooms and three double rooms. Run on a room only basis it offers business men and women, cyclists, walkers and holiday makers a great base to stay.

A five minute walk from the railway and bus station with parking in the Market Place Chapter Two is with in easy reach.

Rory and Jackie also own and run Chapter One Bistro literally thirty seconds away from the Bar offering fantastic fresh locally sourced and prepared culinary delights.

Enjoy your stay in an up and coming traditional market town which leads to the North York Moors, the Yorkshire Wolds or the East Coast.
