The Cornmill

Description

The Cornmill is a guest house establishment located in Kirbymoorside. Sympathetically converted 18thC watermill and Victorian farmhouse providing tranquil well-appointed bed and breakfast accommodation on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Our extensive grounds offer you a relaxing base - which is still only ten minutes walk from the centre of Kirkbymoorside - whilst giving you convenient access to a vast range of attractions and activities across the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast, and southwards via Castle Howard to York (only 26 miles away).

The farmhouse contains the large (non smoking) bedrooms with four poster, king-size, double or twin beds. All rooms are provided with an en suite powerful shower and WC (one room with bath and WC) as well as Freeview TV/DVD and coffee and tea making facilities. Feel free to relax in the Guest Lounge. Please let us know if you’d like us to light the wood burning stove for you. We also have a bootroom for wet coats and walking boots.

Our sumptuous breakfasts are served in the Mill which also has a glass-floored viewing panel over the millrace. Whenever possible, we use our own home-grown vegetables, backed up by locally sourced produce.
