Mill Croft has just been fully refurbished and all of our guest rooms are fully en suite and decorated to a very high standard.

Mill Croft is situated on a peaceful, private road, with views of the moors, within the picturesque village of Goathland in the heart of the stunning North Yorkshire Moors.

Goathland is probably best known for its film and TV appearances and is a lovely little village, offering breathtaking views, peace and tranquillity. Not to mention its own working steam railway!

Mill Croft will provide you with the perfect base from which to explore this stunning area. Just off the doorstep, you will find extensive walking and cycling trails, either for those who enjoy light exercise or for anyone who might enjoy a bit more of a challenge!

Probably best known as 'Aidensfield' and the backdrop for the popular TV series Heartbeat, Goathland has many unique features for you to visit, all within a short walk from Mill Croft - Scripps Garage, the Aidensfield Arms and Aidensfield Stores not to mention Goathland Railway Station, which featured in the Harry Potter films as Hogsmead Station.

The fishing port of Whitby is 9 miles from Goathland and well worth a visit! Famous for Captain Cook, Dracula, Whitby Abbey, 199 steps and of course Fish and Chips!
