Chainbridge Riverside Retreats

Set next to the River Esk hidden away in our private grounds. Chainbridge offers a tranquil retreat. Nature is on your doorstep, you can watch the wild life from the comfort of your sofa. Bird watching, fishing on our banks (with rod license). The swans, ducks and chickens make a daily visit. The retreats are purpose built right along side the riverbank and grouped together. Simple furnished open plan living, some bedrooms with antique French beds. Shower rooms all downstairs. Parking right outside and disabled access on some cottages.

Ruswarp has a good range of local amenities; post office, pub and general store with rowing boats and miniature golf next door to use and our own railway April to October. Our own little diesel and steam trains thrill young and old alike. Across the riverbank from us, North Yorks Railways run their wonderful old steam trains.

Whitby with all its wonderful old seaside, has much to offer plenty of historical attractions are close by. The beautiful North York Moors are just minutes away. We are perfectly placed for both coast and moors. We allow well-behaved dogs at a small extra charge.
