|Azets, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, has recently welcomed 23 new trainees across its offices in Yorkshire. This exciting development was announced on 14 September 2026, marking a significant step in the company's commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals in the region.
New Faces at Azets
The new recruits, comprising both graduates and school leavers, are set to embark on their careers in various service areas including audit, accounts, tax, and technical accounting.

Specifically, the breakdown of roles is as follows:
13 trainees in audit
6 in Accounts and Business Advisory Services (ABAS)
2 in tax
2 in technical accounting
Of the 23 new trainees, 11 are based in Leeds, 10 in York, and 2 in Bradford. This recruitment drive highlights Azets’ ongoing investment in local talent and its aim to provide valuable career opportunities within Yorkshire.

Career Pathways at Azets
The training programmes at Azets are designed to cater to both school leavers and graduates, offering different routes to professional qualifications. The school leaver programme spans six years and includes two apprenticeship stages, allowing trainees to earn their Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification before progressing to a chartered accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or ICAS. Meanwhile, the graduate route typically lasts three to four years, focusing on the same chartered accountancy qualifications.
This structured approach ensures that trainees not only gain essential knowledge and skills but also develop the confidence needed to excel in their careers. Azets has a history of fostering rewarding careers, with many apprentices having successfully built their futures within the company.

With offices located in Leeds, Bradford, and York, Azets employs 335 staff members who provide tailored accounting, tax, and advisory services.
