Called in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. A wide variety of well priced drinks and food to choose from. Offers on food throughout the week, including a Saturday; which is good to see. We opted for the lasagne & the chilli nacho burger. Both were super hot, well presented and really tasty. A great stop off if you’re in the village or just passing!
Returned here again as we love tje friendly atmosphere and again not disappointed. Attentive staff, food was delicious and arrived piping hot and in a timely manner. Can't fault the way this pub is run. After speaking to locals whilst there they told us how it was run previously and how much it has improved. Think this pub is always going to be our go to place. Thanks to all the great staff and the landlord and landlady looks like you are keepers and are doing a fantastic job.
Lovley staff, quick service. The place is clean and looked after has a good atmosphere throughout the week. Annie always has a smile on her face. Would recommend for food and or a night out on the booze
I was asked to give a review after my meal this evening with my daughter. The food was excellent for the price, the service was excellent. I looked at the reviews that have been previously been put online and saw that they had received a couple of negative ones recently. I believe it has a new landlord and lady and wonder if these negative reviews are really true because what I have seen this last week on three visits is only positive. It looks clean, smells nice and everyone seems so much happier. Keep up the good work already planning to return next Thursday for the kids eat for £1 offer.
Another great visit to the red lion. Great atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and very welcoming. Roxanne the landlady is a breath of fresh air and bring to the pub what’s been missing for a long time. Always happy to engage with all the customers and nothing is ever to much for her to do or help with. This has now become a regular for myself, friends and family.
