|Children in York are being invited to unleash their creativity and design their dream celebration cake as part of the exciting Little Bakers Awards 2026, organised by Cake Box. This fun competition is open to kids aged four to 11, offering them a chance to let their imaginations run wild and potentially see their cake design come to life.
How to Participate
To enter the competition, young bakers can either collect a special design sheet from any Cake Box store in York or download it from the Cake Box website. Once they have their design sheet, they are encouraged to draw and decorate their ultimate cake creation. The deadline for submitting their designs is 31 August 2026, so there’s plenty of time to think up something truly spectacular!
Exciting Prizes Await
The winner of the Little Bakers Awards will have their design transformed into a real cake, crafted by Cake Box’s expert bakers. Not only will they get to see their creation become a reality, but they will also enjoy a cake decorating experience with the Cake Box team. Additionally, the winner will receive a party bundle to celebrate with friends and family.
In recognition of their creativity, five regional runners-up will also be chosen. Each of these talented young designers will receive a party bundle, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to celebrate their imaginative efforts.
