Excitement is brewing at Yorkshire’s first whisky distillery as a talented acoustic duo from Scarborough prepares for their debut performance. Take 2, featuring Grace Tattersall and Josh Giddings, will take the stage at the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery on 29th August for an unforgettable evening of music as part of the Distillery Sessions.

Take 2 Takes the Stage

Grace and Josh, known collectively as Take 2, are not new to the music scene. With over a decade of professional experience, they have entertained audiences across the UK and internationally. Their unique style combines impressive live-looping techniques with captivating lead vocals, promising a rich, full-band sound that will fill the intimate Pot Still Coffee Shop venue.

Steve Marson, the marketing manager at Spirit of Yorkshire, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event:

“Grace and Josh bring over a decade of professional performance experience to our intimate stage, having spent years entertaining audiences both internationally and across the UK. Expect a full-band sound created live on stage through Josh’s clever live-looping, paired with Grace’s incredible lead vocals. It promises to be a fantastic night.”

Tickets for the event are priced at £15, or £25 if guests wish to enjoy a delicious Ploughman’s supper or a vegetarian option. This makes it a perfect night out for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a delightful evening filled with music and good food. More Than Just Music

But the fun doesn’t stop at music! The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery offers tours seven days a week, giving visitors a chance to learn about the whisky-making process from start to finish. Tours are an excellent way to understand the craft behind the delicious spirits produced at the distillery. Alongside tours, the Pot Still Coffee Shop offers homemade refreshments, making it a great spot to relax before or after the music session. The coffee shop is open from 9:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Saturday and from 10 am to 3 pm on Sundays.

Recognition at Hitched Wedding Awards

Earlier this year, Take 2 received recognition as one of the most valued and recommended vendors by couples at the Hitched Wedding Awards. This accolade highlights their commitment to providing exceptional performances and memorable experiences for their audiences.
