Excitement is building in Sheffield as the renowned artist Mall Grab prepares for a highly anticipated performance at Electric Studios on Friday, 4 September 2026. This show marks his return to the city after almost three years, and fans are eager to experience his unique blend of electronic music in an intimate setting.

Return To Sheffield

Mall Grab, originally from Australia and now based in the UK, has established a strong connection with Sheffield's vibrant music scene over the years. His journey in the city began back in 2018 at The Tuesday Club, where he captivated a sold-out crowd with an extended set. He returned in 2021 alongside fellow artists Effy and Steel City Dance Discs, further solidifying his relationship with local fans. Most recently, he headlined a showcase at Hope Works in September 2023, featuring a line-up of talented Sheffield artists including Moktar and Anika.

Electric Studios Debut

This upcoming show will be Mall Grab’s first performance at Electric Studios, which has quickly become a hub for electronic music and club culture in Sheffield. The venue is on a mission to bring internationally acclaimed artists to the city, and Mall Grab's show is a significant part of its growing calendar of events.

Electric Studios has already hosted a variety of sold-out performances and club nights, featuring well-known acts such as St Etienne, We Are Scientists, and Chicane. Adding Mall Grab to the line-up only enhances the venue's reputation as a go-to spot for music lovers.

An Artist On The Rise

Since his emergence in the mid-2010s, Mall Grab has gained a global following with his dynamic style that blends house, techno, breaks, and electro. His debut album, What I Breathe, released in 2022, reached the top of the UK Dance Albums Chart and showcased his collaborations with artists like Nia Archives and D Double E. The album reflects his diverse influences and commitment to creating music that resonates on the dancefloor.

In addition to his album, Mall Grab has continued to innovate in the music scene with his Looking For Trouble events, which have been consistently popular since their launch in 2018. Recently, he launched the Fragrance label with Effy, further expanding his artistic footprint.
