As the spooky season approaches, Vue cinemas across Yorkshire are gearing up for an exciting line-up of films that cater to all ages and tastes. Starting from early October, audiences can look forward to a mix of new releases, cult classics, and family favourites that will surely add to the Halloween spirit.

This October, Vue cinemas in Leeds, York, Sheffield, and Castleford will bring a variety of films to the big screen, from beloved Halloween classics to thrilling new releases. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

• Hocus Pocus – Returning from 2 October, this Disney favourite tells the story of three witches who are accidentally brought back to life, leading to a whirlwind of magic and mischief.

• Verity – Also debuting on 2 October, this psychological thriller stars Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson, promising a gripping adaptation of the popular novel by Colleen Hoover.

• The Craft (30th Anniversary) – Celebrating its 30th anniversary from 9 October, this cult classic about teenage witches has captivated audiences since the 1990s.

• Other Mommy – Arriving on 9 October, this supernatural film features Jessica Chastain in a dual role, adding a unique twist to the horror genre.

• The Others (25th Anniversary) – Starring Nicole Kidman, this chilling tale of suspense returns on 16 October, offering a haunting experience perfect for older audiences.
