This new initiative is a tribute to Morrisons' Yorkshire roots, which began in 1899 when the supermarket first opened as a market stall in Bradford. Today, Morrisons continues to honour its local heritage by serving Yorkshire Tea, a product that is still blended in Harrogate by Taylors of Harrogate. This tea has become a symbol of local pride and remains one of Britain's favourite beverages.

From 1st August, all Morrisons Cafés will proudly pour Yorkshire Tea alongside their classic menu offerings. Customers will have the chance to enjoy this iconic tea with a variety of meals, whether it’s a hearty full English breakfast, a light lunch with friends, or an afternoon slice of cake. The introduction of Yorkshire Tea also enhances Morrisons' popular offer, where customers can enjoy a cake and any refillable hot drink for just £4.00, which now includes Yorkshire Tea.
