The Yorkshire Wolds is gearing up for a lively celebration as Wold Top Brewery announces its fifth Oktoberfest event. Following the success of previous years, tickets are now available for this much-anticipated festival, which promises an afternoon and evening filled with great beer, delicious food, and lively entertainment.

Event Details

The Oktoberfest will take place at the Wold Top Brewery in Wold Newton on Saturday, 26th September, running from 3 pm to 11 pm. Attendees can look forward to a specially brewed Oktoberfest beer, crafted by the brewery’s talented team, alongside a selection of German dishes with a unique Yorkshire twist offered by local food vendor Nabs Nosh. To keep the atmosphere festive, an Oompah Band will provide lively music throughout the event.

Managing director of Wold Top, Kate Balchin, shared her enthusiasm for this year's festival:

“We had such good feedback from last year’s event and our brewers were excited to have another opportunity to brew a special Oktoberfest beer that we’re repeating our German beer festival with a Yorkshire twist. We’re all really excited for what will be a fabulous, fun-filled afternoon and evening. Fancy dress is optional, but very much encouraged!”

Tickets and Camping

Tickets for the event are priced at £18 per person, which includes a complimentary pint or a soft drink. For those wishing to make a weekend of it, basic camping, caravan, and motorhome pitches are available for £12 per pitch. This offers a chance to enjoy the festival without the worry of travelling home after a fun-filled day.
