Found this pub whilst on a long drive, had a delicious simple lunch. An amazing fish finger sandwich and the best seasoned fries I’ve had in a long time! Super welcoming and dog friendly.
Absolutely appalling. Arrived to the pub with my partner and little sister. I wanted to get 2 cocktails as they had an offer on, they asked for my ID which was absolutely fine. I asked how many people they needed ID For and they replied “whoever is drinking”. I replied and stated that my little sister wouldn’t be drinking as she’s under age, I then got told she would be “keeping an eye” on me and watching us. By some girl with dark long hair. HOW INSULTING. I do not expect to be spoken to like that as a paying customer, insulted and treat like I am attending school. I have every right to attend a pub with my little sister and not be “watched” especially after I explained MYSELF that she was under age !!! Was going to order food and actually really like the pub but will not be returning. I suggest you get better trained staff that aren’t also underage.
Brilliant local pub! Cheap drinks quick service. Amazing atmosphere at the scooter multi meet! Locals are always present and friendly! Can't go wrong here! Landlord and landlady work so hard and are salf of the earth people.
Great local pub great landlord and landlady, very friendly staff and regular customers. Really good for sports on T.V. Very large car park around the front and side of the pub. This place offers a wide range of beers wines and spirits it also has regular bands on and gets nice and cosy. All in all a great pub with good people.
