A lovely atmosphere, i definitely recommend the bottomless brunch. It was such a lovely experience. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the toilets were lovely and clean. A very rustic vibe but in the best ways.
What an amazing experience! Charlie looked after us so well, and made our afternoon thoroughly enjoyable. Despite the bank holiday rush, we still had a steady stream of drinks for our bottomless brunch, and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you, Charlie!
Lovely decor, we didn't book but it was very quiet when we arrived 1.30pm. Only two other tables occupied. No one came to great us or offered us a table, so we just seated ourselves. It was then a good 10 minutes until we were approached and our drink and food order were taken. A further 10 minutes for a coke to arrive, followed by a further long wait and then us to prompt for our water to be brought to us . We requested a highchair and one was provided, but unfortunately, it only had one of its straps which meant one of the parents had to sit with a hand on the chair to stop the baby sliping through. Starters came. They were piping hot and very, very tasty. Further long wait, to which we were starting to panic slightly as we had a train to catch but then the mains arrived. Well worth the wait as they were lovely. We had a couple of the lite bite steaks, great value and the steaks were cooked to perfection, well seasoned. The guy we spoke to as leaving was very friendly and lovely to talk to but unfortunately, the service was very poor considering how quiet it was. A shame because the food was very good.
We hosted our company Xmas staff party, that was planed in just 4 days. Aimee was great and so helpful in planing the event with such short notice. Levi and the bartender on the night went above and beyond making it such a smooth event. Great food. I definitely recommend it and we will back again.
Dined for Christmas last night with my work team and gosh!first of all the seating position provided is not great ,at the corner close to kitchen and men’s toilet ,far from music and where things are happening ,waiting time was too long ,vegetables served were not properly cook(sprout was hard like raw)even after specifically given written instructions about cooking all my food properly, also their was a thing about surphodioxide allergy that the manager came to chat about that he’s sorry he can’t sort out ,my question is why is that on website when you can’t obviously meet the requirements,Gravy should have been placed separately and not on the whole food ,portion size for £41 (3course meal )is too small, colleagues desserts were frozen in the middle (cheese cake),no reception atall at the restaurant, one has to step out to use mobile phone as their wifi is not working,Overall experience is not great, never returning .
