|This summer, families in South Leeds can look forward to a fantastic experience at White Rose Shopping Centre with the return of the popular Kids Carnival. From Friday, 24th July until Sunday, 6th September, the carnival promises to bring six weeks of excitement and entertainment, perfect for children and their families.
New Activities for Summer 2026
This year, the Kids Carnival is introducing some thrilling new activities that are sure to be a hit with visitors. Families can test their skills with:
Inflatable Axe Throwing: A fun and safe way to try your hand at this popular sport, aiming to hit the targets with soft, inflatable axes.
Penalty Shootouts: A chance for aspiring footballers to show off their goal-scoring abilities and see who can score the most goals.

Whether aiming for the bullseye in axe throwing, competing in the penalty shootouts, or simply enjoying the pedal boats, there’s something for everyone at this year’s carnival.




Classic Carnival Fun
In addition to the new activities, the Kids Carnival will feature a range of traditional fairground rides and attractions that have delighted visitors in previous years. Guests can enjoy:
Teacups: Spin around in these classic carnival rides.

The carnival is free to enter and will be open daily from 11 am to 9 pm during the school holidays, making it an ideal outing for families looking to enjoy their summer.

Ashleigh Kellett, the Deputy Centre Director at White Rose, expressed excitement about the carnival's return. She stated, “Kids Carnival always goes down a treat with our guests, so we knew we had to bring it back this summer. Packed with fun activities for all ages, it’s another reason that White Rose is the best place to keep the family entertained this summer.”
