|Manahatta Greek Street, a popular venue on Greek Street, is about to celebrate an important milestone—its tenth birthday. To mark this significant occasion, the venue is set to undergo a major refurbishment, promising a fresh new look for its loyal patrons and newcomers alike. The refurbishment will begin with a temporary closure from 13th to 25th September, during which the venue will be transformed into a vibrant space perfect for after-work drinks, late-night parties, and weekend celebrations.
Exciting Changes Ahead

The revamp at Manahatta Greek Street aims to enhance the atmosphere and experience for guests, drawing inspiration from the lively energy of New York City. Some of the exciting updates include a completely redesigned bar area, which will feature new lighting and signage, creating an inviting space for everyone to enjoy. The bar will be levelled to offer a seamless experience, whether guests are there for a quick drink or a night out with friends. The venue will also see new seating arrangements, introducing cushioned, diner-style benches and booths by the windows. This change is not just about comfort; it’s designed to create a more spacious environment for guests to relax and enjoy their time together. Additionally, the outdoor area will receive a facelift with new awnings and umbrellas, reminiscent of the bustling streets of New York.
Creating a Relaxing Atmosphere
A key part of the refurbishment is the new colour palette and mood lighting, aimed at fostering a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. The combination of greens, red bricks, and earthy tones is intended to make the venue feel welcoming and lively, regardless of the time of day. Whether it’s a casual lunch or a late-night celebration, the space will be designed to transition smoothly from day to night. Guests can look forward to enjoying new music playlists that will accompany the lively ambience. In addition, a revamped drinks menu will feature exciting cocktails, including the Watermelon & Coconut Margarita and the Apple and Lychee Martini, ensuring there’s something for everyone to sip on while they enjoy their time at Manahatta.
Enhancements for Comfort
The improvements won't stop at the main dining and bar areas. Customer facilities will also receive significant upgrades. The toilets will be fully refurbished, with additional cubicles being added to the ladies' toilets to enhance capacity and comfort. This means that guests can spend more time enjoying the atmosphere and less time waiting in line.
