This slow-growing conifer resembles a yew, with long gold-tipped needles that mature to green in the winter. Cephalotaxus harringtonia 'Korean Gold' is a columnar cultivar with a compact, narrow growth habit that creates a golden exclamation mark in the garden! It is commonly known as the Plum Yew and prefers a cool, moist environment. It is an excellent specimen plant for shaded woodland areas. It also responds well to hard pruning, making it an excellent choice for an evergreen hedging plant.
