The Settle Victoria Hall Beer Festival is back for 2026, and it promises to be an exciting event for everyone in the community. Taking place from Thursday, 6th August to Saturday, 8th August, this festival will be held at the iconic Settle Victoria Hall, known as the world's oldest surviving music hall. This year, the festival is gearing up for an even bigger celebration of local ales, ciders, and live entertainment, while also raising funds for important local charities.

Festival Highlights

The free-to-enter festival is a fantastic opportunity for residents, visitors, and beer lovers to come together. Families are also welcome, and even dogs can join in the fun! Here’s what to expect:

  • Local Ales and Ciders: A carefully selected range of ales and ciders will be available, showcasing the best of what Yorkshire has to offer.

  • Live Entertainment: The festival will feature live music, creating a lively atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

  • Community Spirit: The event aims to foster a sense of togetherness in the community while supporting two deserving charities.

Event Schedule

The festival will run at the following times:

  • Thursday, 6th August: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Friday, 7th August: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

  • Saturday, 8th August: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Supporting Local Charities

Every pint served at the festival will support both Settle Victoria Hall and The Principle Trust Children's Charity. The funds raised will help Settle Victoria Hall continue its vital work in delivering arts, culture, and community activities. The Principle Trust provides free respite holidays for children and their families across Yorkshire who are facing tough challenges in life.

Kerry Magson, Partnerships and Engagement Manager at The Principle Trust, expressed her excitement about the festival:

“Whether you're a seasoned real ale enthusiast or simply looking for a fantastic summer day out with friends and family, the Settle Victoria Hall Beer Festival offers something for everyone while helping two deserving Yorkshire charities continue their invaluable work.”

Sponsorship and Community Involvement

This year, the festival is proudly sponsored by Rathbones, who are the headline sponsor, along with Walker Foster Solicitors as the programme and barrel sponsor. Pat Doig from Rathbones shared:

“We are delighted to be headline sponsor of the Settle Beer Festival and to continue with our support for The Principle Trust. The festival serves as a highlight in the area over the summer, with all proceeds going towards charities that do great local work.”

This partnership highlights the importance of local businesses supporting community initiatives.
