Stopped here as my mate had seen quiz night advertised. Atmosphere is not bad, pub smells a bit like wet dog. Pork pie was great but don't think they are made here. What really let this place down was the lad behind the bar, spent most of the time in beer garden smoking. There is obviously regulars as he spent most of time gossiping with them overhead some right stuff which I probably shouldn't of. Shame could be great place

Used to love stopping for a pint here but it's really gone down hill recently bar manager is always smoking or on his phone rather than serving, you have to ask to be served. He is a little rude too. The pub has a lingering smell of cat wee not sure if they have pets living there but it smells like it. I would give this place a miss

My favourite local pub! Atmosphere is always very welcoming and you are always served quickly with a smile. The pubs nice and warm with a lovely fire. The prices are very reasonable. There are lots of regulars who go in weekly to socialise.
