This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced commercial lawyers while taking ownership of high-quality transactions for a broad client base of owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and established regional companies.<br /><br />Rather than being confined to one niche, you'll advise across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, giving you the variety and responsibility needed to continue developing as a trusted adviser.<br /><br />Your work will include: <ul> <li>Mergers and acquisitions.</li><li>Share and asset sales and purchases.</li><li>Management buyouts.</li><li>Corporate finance transactions.</li><li>Shareholder and partnership agreements.</li><li>Joint ventures.</li><li>Agency, distribution and franchise agreements.</li><li>Company formations and restructures.</li><li>Commercial contracts and terms of business.</li><li>Advising clients on day-to-day corporate and commercial matters.</li></ul> To be considered, you'll ideally have: <ul> <li>Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Corporate, Corporate & Commercial or Company Commercial law.</li><li>Experience handling corporate transactions with increasing levels of autonomy.</li><li>Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills.</li><li>Commercial awareness and the confidence to advise business owners directly.</li><li>An interest in developing long-term client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser.</li><li>Exposure to Commercial Property, Employment or Intellectual Property matters would be advantageous but isn't essential.</li></ul> This opportunity would suit a Corporate Solicitor, Corporate & Commercial Solicitor, Company Commercial Solicitor, Corporate Associate or Commercial Lawyer looking to take on greater responsibility within a well-established Yorkshire practice.<br /><br />The firm has built its reputation over generations by developing long-term relationships with businesses across the region.
