Hales Hill Park

The whole place is run down. Zero staff on site to help when we arrived. This was the case for the 2 nights we were there. The shower/toilet block was grubby/dirty & the wooden club house would be more fitted in place at ‘Eden Camp’. We paid £35 a night, shocking to stop in a remote field with NOTHING. Yes we had EHU but we certainly didn’t use £70 worth. It’s a shabby place that unfortunately has a horrible old women driving round in her white car claiming to own the roads with her son. If that’s the case then spend some of the money on the pot holes…jeeeze! Embarrassing confrontation with her while we were having a nice walk with our dogs, & she kept coming back for more, very aggressive & very rude. Avoid at all costs. Certainly not worth it.

Such a great location, very peaceful. We stayed on the field just up from the River Ouse, personally I think a better place to camp then by the river. There was loads of room for kids to play, great campsite for families and friends. We stayed one night on a plot with electric hook up. We contacted the owners and asked to hire a camp fire which to my 4 year old sons delight they delivered on a tractor. The toilet/shower block is small but very clean. A excellent stay we will return to try out the club house.

Absolutely 5-stars for everything! Superb location, with parking and easy access for cases etc. Lovely large kitchen area with all facilities and an island. The owner had left us fresh farm eggs, bacon, butter, bread and milk - a lovely touch and so considerate. Great dining room and lounge/sitting room with a large tv. 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds. Plenty of clean towels. All in all a beautiful house and we were sad to leave.

Just got back from a 3 night camping trip for my birthday, first time and definitely not the last! The most gorgeous, peaceful place, everyone was friendly and the staff were so welcoming and lovely, particularly Jay and Jane in the clubhouse, really chatty and bubbly and could tell they love doing what they do. Kids loved watching the boats in the river. Thankyou hales hill we will be back next year😊

Lovely spacious dog friendly site. Stayed this bank holiday weekend. Level pitches both electric and non electric. Clean toilets and showers. Washing up facilities with really hot water. Been very windy with some downpours but we have still loved the piece and quiet. With definitely return again.
