Owner’s Description

Bed and Breakfast at Nethergill Farm brings you relaxation at its best. Enjoy peace, tranquility and a warm welcome. Appreciate the clear, unpolluted starlit nights and watch the swallows darting in and around the buildings. Oughtershaw Beck meanders along the full length of the farm attracting a host of mammals and wild birds. The large Victorian farmhouse and traditional farm buildings nestle into the side of the hill, the original shippons and stone hay barns are still in place.

Special reduced rates for stays of more than one night.

Nethergill B&B uses locally sourced food (organic wherever possible), home baked bread and home cured bacon. Rustic farmhouse supper available. Guests have the use of a large sitting room with log burner and walled front garden with magnificent views over the beck and the hills.

Two spacious rooms, one double and one twin bedded, offer scenic views over the hay meadow and the beck. The decor is simple and calming, and home made biscuits are provided with the tea and coffee making facilities.

Nethergill Farm provides the ideal overnight stop for walkers on the Dales Way. Other activities include birdwatching, flyfishing, dry-stone walling and painting, and we will be happy to organise these or other activities – just let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
