Hamiltons Cafe/Bistro

Really friendly welcome and amazing selection of cakes! The place feels like it could be a cabin at the top of a mountain or in the American rockies with big thick wooden logs. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location & absolutely stunning scenery. Great way to unwind & have breakfast. The food was excellent. There are a couple of cable car pods where you can sit in. The building feels almost like an Alpine chalet. The service was excellent & very friendly. The cafe is open until 4.00pm.

My first visit here and I was so impressed. All tables were full but we were offered the Ski Gondolas to sit in. These are cosy but beautiful too, especially on a sunny day looking out over the river. The staff are very friendly, in particular one of the owners who took time to talk to us. The breakfast here is fab. Great produce is used, the bacon & sausage a highlight. Eggs that are actually cooked properly too. Highly recommended

We came here just before we started the massive hike with the in-laws. We started we started the day with breakfast. they have these mega little mini breakfast muffins which are perfect not too heavy. The staff is super friendly the toilets the toilet which are always a plus. Also, I do remember they was the best sausages I’ve had in about five years.

Such a lovely setting overlooking the river. The food here was home cooked and really tasty. Quick friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely come back.
