Chestnut Barn Holiday Cottage

We had a fantastic week at Chestnut Barn. The barn was lovely and clean and well equipped. The new owners are very friendly and really helpful. It's a good location for days out and lots to do.

Chestnut Barn is amazing accommodation for exploring North Yorkshire. Booking was simple with the hosts responding to any questions. Well equipped with everything you need especially in the kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and the wetroom ground floor bathroom was superb for us as we have a son who requires the use of a hoist. 10 mins to Whitby and close to the beaches at Sandsend and Runswick Bay. Plenty of good restaurants in the area to try too. We'll definitely be coming back again. Thank you for a great holiday.

Stayed for a week in June with in-laws & my mum, the barn was fabulous. Very well maintained, clean, comfortable. Lovely welcome pack & fresh flowers. All rooms beautifully furnished. Ilona, Heidi & family were very welcoming & helpful. Location is great with nice local pub & 10 mins into Whitby. Highly recommended, hope to come back again.

Excellent Cottage in a great location, only a few minutes from Whitby and ideally situated to visit other beaches etc. Everything you want is provided and the cottage has a great layout which suited us perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone for a luxury break in this area, perfect for the moors too. Thank you Heidi for making it so easy and providing exactly what we wanted. Hopefully see you again! All i can is say is thank you for letting us holiday in your Beautiful Cottage , Great sized rooms , with everything you could want . Great food in the pub on the doorstep and very well placed for exploring north Yorkshire . We took our new kitten & his mum they loved it too .
